The Fabric app and any client speaking the same messages API come through here. The gateway picks the model, streams the answer back, and writes down what happened — who asked, what served it, what it cost. Nothing reaches a model without leaving a record behind it.

Governance
Every prompt and every answer is kept, attributed to a named person. A workspace can append its own policy to the system prompt of every request that leaves it, and guardrails record what they match. Nothing here can be edited afterwards — including by an administrator.
Run it on your own hardware
Open-weight models only, so the same workload can move from a metered API to a machine in your own building without touching a single client. The register is what tells you when that trade becomes worth making.
Automations it builds for you
Describe a job you repeat — “every month I check each invoice against the PO” — and the assistant assembles it as a flow you can read as a diagram. It then runs deterministically: the tenth run does what the first did.
Approvals inside the run
A step can stop and wait for a named person. The request reaches them in their own app, and the run continues from exactly where it paused — with who approved it, and when, recorded beside the rest.
Connected to your systems
Mailboxes, ERP, and the documents on your own disk. An invoice can arrive by email, be matched against its purchase order line by line, and be written back as a payable — without anyone retyping it.
Access control
Workspaces are walls: people, keys, providers, automations and records all sit inside one and nothing crosses. Roles are per workspace, keys are per person and revoked in one click, and spend caps apply whether or not anyone is watching.
